I got auditors at work so I have no time to blog. This event happened one lovely June 20 years ago. It is one of my favorite posts. So please read Romancing the Chicken Bone. Even if you read this before I invite you to read it again.

you said it happened 20 years ago but you write like it happened yesterday. What a beautiful story. That was my first time reading it so I am one of those who are very thankful that you shared again. You made me remember my own romance with a Texan except in our case he wasn’t a blossom. He was a lump of coal that transformed into a diamond.

This must have been one of the first, or maybe even the first post I read of yours. It was certainly the first that I commented on. It’s a classic, and I enjoyed reading it again.
