Tax Day and a Lovely Thought

Today is the deadline for Individual Income Tax in American. Finally and thankfully, I have completed mine. Wrote a painfully large check to add to the amount I have already been gouged for. Only hope the government will use it wisely, but I know much will be squandered. Out of my hands though.
Analysis after completing taxes. I have decided to take a much more thorough look at getting the marketing done for my CPA firm. All of my current work seems to just raise the family’s tax liablity. So when considering the gas I spend and other expenses related to work, it might be better off staying home and building a client base. Have to revisit my business plan and marketing plan.

I received a package from sunny Singapore. This came from Pinkie and Marc and totally unexpected too. Lifted my spirits up when I was getting beat up by all those numbers. They send me some spices to get a taste of Singapore, particularly their favorite dishes. Pinkie has warned me that the curry will be hot. LOL! But that’s okay. But look at the rose. Nice isn’t it? Marc sells glass and this tile is some of the work he does. He does most (if not all) of the glass designs that he sells to clients and now I can see how good he is. And he is good! If you are in Singapore and need glass, check him out.

don’t give money to the government! they’ll just use it to send more soldiers to iraq!
SA: I’d rather send soldiers to Iraq, then go to jail for not paying taxes. Though I would prefer they went to Iran or Syria. That is where the war will end or grow into World War III if we just leave the Middle East. Iran is the new Nazi.

Tax! Nooooooooo!!! Our deadline is 30th April and my form is still sitting on my dining table! *pengsan*
Psssttt! I spy someone’s foot… haha..

SA: *throws water on Angel* Wake up! Wake up!. Do taxes faster so you can enjoy life.
My foot is so big! You know what they say about big feet don’t ya? They always sneak in the picture.

SA: Tax checks are so painful. Heart is in pain. And my bank is empty.

like my dad always says - the more taxes you pay, the more you are earning! that’s a good thing, ain’t it?
SA: Earning more is nice for sure. Problem in this country is if you do not withhold enough every month they charge you a penalty. So I paid tax and penalty. Ouch!
April 17th, 2007 at 9:28 am
SIGH.
I still have yet to submit my tax returns.
AND I have a big fat cheque to write to the “gahmen” too. BLEAGGHhhhh….
SA: *pats back*
It’ll be okay. Hurts to watch the money go away. Puts knots in tummies. But does not steal the smiles from your baby. There’s one tax they can never collect (smile tax). Give him a big hug and those taxes won’t hurt so much.

April 18th, 2007 at 4:04 am
errr…i get an agent to do the tax for me..me very lazy..the medicine for headache might cost more than the fees i pay the agent..so it’s worth it..but darn..he is not helping me ‘cut’ loses la..
SA: I actually do taxes for others so I share others headaches so they don’t have to. I do try to keep every dollar I can in my client’s pocket though. Have never seen a Malaysian tax form. Good luck.
April 18th, 2007 at 4:29 am
I just notice that Taxes is pronounced the same as Texas. So hate it or love it… No… U should love it! It’s for Texas Taxes!!!
SA: Texas and taxes should never be mistaken. Though the governor needs to learn that. Texas love! Taxes hate!
April 18th, 2007 at 5:12 am

April 22nd, 2007 at 8:54 am
Bite your tongue SA! I think UTD (aren’t they United Treasure Deparment now?) only wants your money. So if you get billed, unless it’s a big big amount, I guess just pay.
SA: *bites tongue* Ouch! I paid it but it hurt.
