Tag De La Tristino

While looking for my lost tag I acquired a few new tags. Which is good, as I always look for new blog material.

One new such tag I received is from Kimananda. She is drawing to the end of her dissertation and she thought I might enjoy the suffering as well. ;) I am a bit confused by the tag, but I think she is referring me to this tag. Hope I am doing the right one. We’ll find out later. In the mean time we have fun.

Pick up the book you’re reading and open it to page 123 and copy the fifth page. Rats. I am not reading at the moment. So I will grab the closest book, which is Auditing Theory and Practice, by Hermanson, Strawser, and Strawser.

“This ruling definitely eliminated the charge of ordinary negligence as an acceptable basis for suit for third parties other than primary beneficiaries. In this same case, Justice Cardozo, recognizing the accountants only express an opinion on financial statements, explicitly established law defining the basis on which accountants could be held liable in third-party suits:”

Wow! Riveting stuff. You want to read summore? See why I want to dump auditing and go back to preparing financial statements and tax work. Or better just writing. Need Tylenol after that. haha

Hope that is what you wanted Kimananda. Really trying my best. But I am in a blur state of mind.

I may be in and out for the next couple of weeks. I do not return to my work place until June 4th. Tomorrow and Thursday I will be at an accounting conference gaining copious amounts of knowledge to better serve my clients and keep Tylenol in business. Monday is America’s Memorial Day and I may go out of town. Though I will not leave until Sunday, as Saturday I will see Monty Python’s Spam-a-Lot in theater. Next week I will be at an auditor’s conference drinking, caroussing, and purchasing more Tylenol.

May sneak a post in here and there. You folks be good. I may not however.  ;)

Nah, I was just kidding you…but this is a great way to see all of what everyone is reading, so I’m glad you did it! :-) Oh, and Tristino is done, done, done. You probably commented while I was printing him out. :-)

SA: Yay!!! Bravisimo. Well done even Kimanada. I know you put a lot of hours into this. Hey did you have to write that in Danish too?

    Red Tristino Ribbons!!!

  3. may Says:

what book is that?! I’m reading something called “Anonymous Lawyer”, about some lawyer blogging… quite interesting!

SA: Auditing Theory and Practice is the book’s title. Really dry stuff. Somedays I want to just throw it in the trash. But then I had one of the authors for a professor and he was a nice chap. So keep it for the memory.

What? Can’t just watch Law and Order like everybody else. :P

sounds like fun! :P i’d rather be in a conference or somewhere than stranded in an office. :P

SA: It will be fun. Well outside of the sessions. Some of the sessions are interesting too. Depends on how things go. I’m just glad to be out of the office. Even though I know I’m going to have to work super hard to get ready for auditors in June.

  6. Abaniko Says:

Busy huh? Me, I like conferences. At least they keep you away from the office for a while and there’s free food and all. Hehe.

Happy Monday holiday in advance! I like conferences and training… it’s like having a paid day vay-kay… Hehehe…

    What’s Monty Python’s Spam-a-Lot theatre?

SA: Thank you Rinnah. It is like a holiday. I almost skipped out of work tonight.

Monty Python’s Spam-a-Lot is a Broadway play. Monty Python is a British comedy. They used to have a television show. There are recordings of their routines also. They did some movies. Two of the best are Monty Python and the Holy Grail & The Life of Brian. If you like British humor then you would enjoy this. If you don’t get the Brits then give it a pass.

  26. dieselfire Says:

Oh my… You deal with numbers ? Urgh, if I picked up the book I’m reading now and write the fifth paragraph, it’ll probably be about a vampire contemplating the pros and cons of not biting people for blood.

    Anyways, have a great weekend!

SA: I would rather be writing the vampire story. Actually have a vampire trilogy in my head. One was written completely before being destroyed on my crashed hard drive. Bummer.

Thank you! Hope yours was lovely. And welcome to my blog. (Kind of funny. When I saw your nickname I thought of my brother. But that is because he was a big fan of diesel trains. lol)
