I could never get into Robert Jordan but its sad to hear of his death because he was such a prolific fantasy writer. I hope you haven't done this tag.

SA: He did write quite a bit. Forgot to mention that he was the official Howard family approved author of Conan too.

I have not done that tag and been patiently waiting for someone to tag me. Thanks! :)

Aw jeez, that's right. I should have comment with merely "Proud Mary keeps on burnin'".

CCR for the win.

SA: "Big wheel keep on turnin'".

SA: Brown's books are real good too. I liked Deception Point the best. Check it out.

We are all like that: When an author passed away, we start reading his book. When a singer passed away, we start listening to his songs. I wonder why?

Joanne

SA: Well in this case I have read another dozen of his books. I seek completion. So do you like to read Joanne?

my boyfriend was just telling me this over baskin & robbins last night. He was quite sad about it. I've never read Jordan's novels before. I've only ever read Pratchett so far in fantasy. But condolences to Jordan's family.

SA: I'm sad and disappointed. I wanted to see the story completed by Jordan. You might want to try Jordan out. He has some strong likeable characters, male and female alike.

Nice to see you come by also. :)

nope. i don read fantasy so i duno him. i just started reading anyway. hmm..

SA: Did you like Lord of the Rings movie? If you did then perhaps you should try some fantasy. I would suggest starting with Michael Moorcock's Elric series or any Edgar Rice Burroughs.

my deepest condolences for the author's family.

Maybe i shall head on to the bookshops this weekend and check his books out =D

SA: A lot of women enjoy his stories. He has some very strong female characters and I find that I become attached to them.

Well, we still have George R. R. Martin. Heh.

SA: Yes there is. Another author who writes long series. Though some of my friends do not like him as his sex scenes are explicit. I love how he writes of the heraldry and food. Terry Goodkind is still around to if he figures out what to do with his story.

May be time for me to write fantasy. Screen play first. :)
