Why Am I So Tired?

It is just Tuesday. Why do I feel like Thursday? Scared the drive home is going to be long tonight. I wonder if I have to pick up my son from Scouts tonight. Hmm… If I do then I must visit that other Malaysian restaurant. Nasi Lamak sounds pretty good right about now.

Sorry that I am not reading, commenting, or responding to comments at my usual pace. It is just that time of the year where I have to really bear down at work. But I still feel pretty guilty for not visiting at my normal rate.

    It’s this Ramadan.

It’s been pretty tiring to me. Fasting hasn’t really made me overtly hungry or thirsty or anything… just that I zonk out at 2130 hrs almost nightly. Never been this exhausted before during Ramadan.

But then I’ve never been this busy with real work (as opposed to fake ones) before.

Or maybe it’s just age catching up with me.

SA: I wish I could go to bed early. Fasting would not hurt me either. Though I have never done that before as I am not religious person.

This Ramadhan has been pretty exhausting. Much more so than previous ones. Fasting isn’t really making me hungry or thirsty, but it has been making me totally zonked out by 2200. I usually can stay lucid way past midnight.

Then again it might me because I’ve never been super busy with real work (as opposed to fake ones) before.

Or maybe it’s just because I’m getting old. My nostril hair is turning gray, I kid you not.

SA: Me too. And it was already weird, having red hair in my nose. Getting old sucks. Until I can retire that is.  :P

    What the-

My entry disappeared and I refreshed twice to no avail. And now there it is after I’d entered my comment the second time.

Oh well. Sorry about the double post.

I read in Reader’s Digest that sometimes, if one has slept enough and still feel a sense of fatigue, it could be due to deficiency in iron. Maybe eating some spinach, or iron-containing food would help?

SA: I know my problem is lack of sleep. Though I do eat a lot of spinach, cause it just a good healthy food to eat.  :)

When you are tired.. Nasi Lemak and Teh Tarik or even a lomaikai work wonders!

SA: I have been trying to get my Malaysian food fix. But something gets in the way every time. *slaps head*
