Find the Cure
My daughter is quite keen on the issue of breast cancer. Going to an all girl school probably helps focus a lot of attention on wearing pink and supporting this cause. She even had the family ready to go on a 5K run (walk real fast for me) to support awareness, until a scheduling conflict prevented us from attending.
She baked the cake below and took it to school. I have no idea how it tasted. Hope it helps creates some awareness.

Looks nice does it not?
If you want to know more you might visit Breast Cancer Awareness. Folks that want to find some pink ribbon wear can visit this shop. The American Cancer Society also is a good resource to learn more regarding this disease.
This is not a paid post. Simply the right thing to do if you love women and want them to be healthy. Let us hope a cure can be found. Or even better a means for immunization.

Well, breast cancer is a subject close to my heart. I had a great aunt who died from it about 10 years ago and it’s been hell ever since. It’s really scary though… seeing someone you love having to suffer through it.
But everyone can do their bit just by clicking once a day at http://www.thebreastcancersite.com
I may not have the money to help but I do what I can.
SA: Thanks dieselfire. We all do what we can. Money is just as important as knowledge and making others aware.
Sorry about your aunt. My family has been fortunate and no one has been affected by this killer disease.

Good for her. My former coworker was diagnosed with breast cancer in August. Annual checkups and self exams are so important. Oopss, I didn’t wear pink today coz I don’t like the color pink!
