The original disclosure I posted is adequate, but I still feel the need to update that policy. I want to clarify so as to remove any gray areas, so there is no doubt to what my purpose is. The new policy is valid from this point forward and in perpetuity.

I write product reviews for compensation, and may receive the product I have reviewed. No matter what I am paid and whether or not I am permitted to keep a product, my reviews are my honest opinion of that product. And yes there are some products and services that I refuse to promote.
In all honesty I believe that word of mouth marketing as provided on blogs is the wave of the future. Therefore it is important that I remain honest with my relationship, opinion and identity towards my sponsors and readership. The compensation received has an influence in the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog, but all opinions and reviews are personally mine.
